My first jig

I had an order for a box to display a rock collection. This would involve fourteen dividers and the half laps had to be perfect. I have done this before but not to this scale so I needed a jig to make all the cuts consistent. I have never made one before so this became a project in itself for me. Set to 1 and 1/2 inch it worked great. A slider for my router table and squared out. With the ice broken, I need to try more now. First I want to make this one adjustable! Thanks for looking.

Simple jigs are the best for repeated cuts. A lot of them do take a long time but are always worth it if you use them again.

Thanks for the comments! I can see this being used for more projects. Shadow boxes, shot glass collections ect. Inch and a half is a good size for many things but I still want to make another one that is adjustable. Thanks for looking.
