Recession Inspired Dancers

Project by miles125 posted 200 days ago 708 views 5 times favorited 17 comments Add to Favorites Watch

These guys popped out of my scrap wood pile as my phone failed to ring the past 3 days. Have to keep the ole imagination in tune for when the call finally comes. I was only going to make one. But i had enough 1/2” scraps to do 4 and couldn’t help myself. Pay no attention to my magic marker skills as i got in a hurry on that part.

I wish i had a video camera. These guys are reallly good. Like they’ve been practicing together for years. :)Perhaps i’ll borrow my sons camera and post it on a blog in the near future.

Why does it take a recession to have so much fun?

I like them. It looks like they enjoy taking off their jackets and ties (and their heads too) so they can really relax before their next show.

I thought this was a woodworking site. How did I get into this entertainment website? It is fun though. When is the movie coming out?

Miles, What a great toy. Hope you can post that video, also would be interested in the actual dimensions to make at least one myself for my daughter.

That’s great Miles! Looks like heart pine. I think I may know the second guy on the right.

I know that one dances on a springy board you usually sit on. How wide a board do you gotta sit on for that many? Maybe you could make a troup of Rockettes Girls with feather head pieces and sequin outfits. Aw, the guys would get an inferiority complex though.
