This is a murphy bed that was completed in April 2009. It is Euro style with a chalkboard face. The customer designed it from some of my past beds. The leg of the Euro bed is the real long trim piece at the top. We duplicated it and put another one at the bottom. Under that we added a chalk holder. Between the top and bottom legs we added a simple trim piece. This created the border for the chalkboard. I added a simple 44” wide bookcase to finish it out.
Unfortunately it didn’t make it. The shipping company totally destroyed it. So these are the picture in remembrance of the murphy bed. I should get it back and we’ll see what we can salvage from it. At the least the hardware. Hopefully it is just a few parts.
Here’s the raw video:

If I were a ghost hunter, I would tell you to run because of all the orbs floating around you in the first couple of building pics. But I’m a woodworker so it’s just sawdust to me.

Sorry about the shipping disaster. I bet the customer was disappointed.
