This is a small stool that I completed for a Lathe class summer of 2013. I turned the legs of the stool. The legs and top are made out of Cherry wood. Since this was one of my first lathe projects, instead of trying to make three matching legs, I just worked to experiment making different curves on the legs. The legs are splayed out from the top at a slight angle and the tenons are wedged with a small piece of maple wood to draw the eye towards it.
