This is another wall table to complete my trio. Its a birdseye maple frame with a roasted curly maple top and shelf. I really love the look of the roasted curly maple

I’m familiar with curly maple, of course, but what does “roasted” mean?

Thanks, when they kiln dry it they dry it a little more than usual which roasts the maple to the nice rich brown color. There is no stain, that is just a clear laquer on it.
