I’m familiar with curly maple, of course, but what does “roasted” mean?

Thanks, when they kiln dry it they dry it a little more than usual which roasts the maple to the nice rich brown color. There is no stain, that is just a clear laquer on it.

I’ve also never heard of that? Your Birdseye is really birdy. Great Table love the contrast.
