This is a wearable wooden ring made up of layers of Canary, Maple, and Walnut.

The wood was joined such that the grain orientation of each layer compliments the neighboring layer in terms of strength. The ring was cut out, hand-shaped (no lathe involved), and sanded using increasingly finer grits of sandpaper until smooth to the touch.

I used a Waterlox finish on this one.

Vince: Thanks again!

Scotsman: Yes sir! I do sell them. You can get to that page through my signature link (Wasn’t sure if it was acceptable to put product links anywhere outside of our signatures. Is that ok?)

Rj: Thanks!

Nice rings you’ve got here, and off the lathe? Impressive!

Hey, scottb! THANKS!

Yeah, I feel like I’m gonna have arthritis at an early age. By the time I’m done with a few rings, my fingers just about don’t want to open from the gripping position.

The bentwood ones, although more tricky in other respects, are the least strenuous on the hands.
