This is 20” diameter plague which involves scrollsawing, carving, sanding, wood burning, dabbling with paint and a coat of polythurane. This has been sitting in my unfinsihed projects for some time and finally decided to complete them, there are still five to go all Oriental themes. I had to join two pieces of pine together to get the required width. I used dowells and glue.

Thanks for the comments, really encouraging when others like your work.

Hi Pat, will need the date, time of birth, age and your address, get them all correct and it’s yours. LOL.

Rod, didn’t want to get carried away on this one, even thought the phoenix is supposed to represent rising from the fire.
