Cutting/marking Gauges

So here are the Cocobolo, Purpleheart and Amazon Rosewood cutting gauges complete. I have improved the
knurled thumb screws by inlaying an imitation ivory button in each. Makes the gauges look a bit more classy.
Making useful tools like this is a great way of using up small offcuts.

Thanks for your comment. I like working with brass and wood; especially beautiful exotic hardwoods. I always think they look so well together, brass and wood that is..
The metal work can be tedious and requires patience but is worthwhile in the end.
