This shoe has some years on it both in age of wood and the years the fence post was used to keep a herd of cattle contained. I took a pattern of a woman’s high heel and here is the result! One side of the shoe had the natural weathered look and the other side was exposed by my bandsaw cut when the carving blank was prepared.

Apart from the high heel and thick sole, the rest of the shoe is entirely from my weird imagination. I love to dance and had this big Boppin’ Momma in my mind as she stomped across the dance floor to some good western music!
And a fence post would not be complete unless there was a strip of barbed wire keeping the shoe tied on.

You wouldn’t want to be nasty with the Big Momma for fear of getting a swift boot to you know where??!!!

Finished with wipe on poly, the shoe shows off it’s beautiful amber colour.

Enjoy!

Roman, the big bopper!

Roman, your “weird imagination” has done well with this one, just be careful with the laces, keep a band aid handy ;)
You’re on a roll right now mate

Luv the barb-wire as the lace. You’re a boot/shoe creator for sure.
