Orthoceras is fosillized Squid approx. 300 million years old. On the second plaque I wanted them to look a though their coming out of the wood .
Woods used are Myrtle & Walnut

Nicely done. I like the unusual and organic design used to display a unique piece. It has a bold, prehistoric presence.
