Maya’s Cottage.
My daughter Maya is 3 and a half and asked me if she can have a playhouse when we were at a yard sale one day. (There was a plastic version of one there). I Told her I rather make you one sometime. (I really didn’t want to buy it ‘cause I was saving my money for tools and stuff).
Sadly I forgot all about it and here she came weeks later and asked me again. I felt like an idiot and at that very moment started making plans for her playhouse. ...I’ve never imagined it will be this gorgeous Cottage that measures 14 feet long by 5 feet wide. Took only three weeks to build and luckily I found some barn wood free available on the local paper.
I’m working on the playground this summer which she’ll enjoy together with her house…

when are you moving your tools in? Swap the pines for palms and the snow for sand and I could quite happily live there. Well done.

Aw man, you put me to shame! I always wanted to build one for the kid but it always seemed like we were on the move. Not only is this cottage awesome, but the placement of it in the garden is simply spectacular. I mean, dang, you even built it around the trees. I am NOT going to show this to my daughter. grin Great job!!

Nice work. That puts the swingset/fort that I built for my daughter to shame.
