I made this double decker birdhouse out of an old Starret gage box I got from work. I also used an old shipping pallet for the front. The front pieces come out in case you want to clean it out.

Can you remind me in December to ruthlessly nick your ideas and build some bird boxes ready for the birds getting it on in February? Thanks.

By the way, there was a Great Spotted Woodpecker in our garden earlier. I’ve never seen that before, nor indded a woodpecker that close.

love the use of scrap wood, nice projects, i actually work at starretts in athol, nice to know our gages are being used appropriately lol
