This is my first atempt at downloading projects onto the site with my new father’s day digital camera. Maybe an old dog can learn a new trick.
This is a lecturn I finished for our church a few months ago. Unfortunately I saw the Wood Whisperers Blog about doing inlays after completing this project. The joinery is double dovetails cut using an incra jig. The lower stringers match using the same double dovetail design, this didn’t come out too well in the picture. The dovetail inlays are oak, the seal is thin plywood with birch top layer. Hope you like it and I hope the downloads work.

It looks like every thing worked. The dovetails look great.

Very nice inlay work and lecturn. I don’t know how you and Mot have the patience. I too, am looking forward to seeing more of your work, now that you have a camera.
