Been needing one of these for a while. Meant to put drawers in, but now will probably just leave as is. I like being able to see inside the cubby. Drawers would hide too much.
It’s just banged together from scraps laying around , but sure does help keep the shop organized a bit better. At least these are off the bench, saw, or floor.

Nice build! I can see why you need it ...... I only have one (Makita) wireless drill!

I used to have a B&D, with enclosed batteries, but the batteries cost more to replace than the original drill so I pulled the chuck and sent the rest to recycle heaven. The old “trickle” chargers are totally worthless!

That makes me wonder, why are cell phones wireless and battery operated drills cordless? Aren’t theyou both wireless and cordless? Just saying!

Very nice. I have not seen one like this with the tube shaped pieces to hold the tools. Can you tell me what those were made from? I really need to build something like this.

I think that “wireless” refers to the data path (voice, text, Internet) and cordless refers to the power source.

It’s just some old PVC pipe I had lying behind the shop covered by years of leaves. If you do a search for drill station or charging station, you should see more examples.

I put my nailer up there too… Maybe I should put my nails in the cubby too, so I can find ‘em.

I have a lot of phoneless cords for sale if you are interested.

Phoneless cords?
Ha ha!
AT first I thought you were saying you had a lot of cords for cordless phones…
