Your benches are great! I love the craftsman style. I also really like your paint combo on the house and garage would you happen to know what the colors are? The reason I ask is that we are going to repaint our prairie style house this fall and that’s just about what I had in mind. Hope my question isn’t too off topic here.

Giz, this looks really good. The deck and bench add a great deal of curb appeal to your home. You built a nicely designed bench that looks so invitingly comfortable.
Nice job.

Nice design. I love the idea of the posts bolted to the joists. I’ve been looking for an idea for benches on my own deck. I may have to steal your idea and incorporate it into my own backyard.

Thanks.
The colors are Sherwin Williams Bronze Green on the Bottom and Benjamin Moore Tate Olive on the top. The Brown Trim is a custom color. The red is Sherwin Williams Rookwood Red.

great job on the bench and all aspects of your backyard living space John. How did the home tour go? I think I must have missed that update.

Sweet, I’m ripping this one off for my own deck. Whenever I get to it….
Nicely done, perfect for the Craftsman vernacular.
