Tomorrow my wife defends her doctoral dissertation. As a gift for her committee members, she asked if I would come to the woodworking rescue and I totally did. There are actually four total boxes. The other two can be seen in my gallery are are very nearly identical in design. The boxes in this post have mahogany lid pulls and not red Grandis like the other two. So, I hope you and they like them. :)

Nice work and love the “pulls” design/idea.

I like the mountain motif. Is she a geologist?

Not a geologist but does have several (yes, several. That just sounds daunting, doesn’t it?) natural resource related degrees. I just wanted cool looking lid handles.
