this is an armoire and bench for a friends bedroom. red oak with a stain was use to match the rest of the house as it meant to stay with the house. the four center doors is where hanging clothes go and in the bottom section there is a pull out shelf. the upper sections on the (L and R) have glass shelves with strip led lights that turn on when the door is opened. i used fluted trim and crown moulding that matches the house. i made the mock columns using 3 pieces of 3/4 by 3/4 cove moulding and 2 pieces of fluted moulding, joined together to make a “L” shape. i also put in a couple plinth blocks to bump out the crown. to make things a little worse i had to make the center piece KD because it was too big to get in the house. the bench has a small taper on the bottom of the legs and a little cove around the legs.
