Built from the plans purchased off of woodgears.ca. I purchased the Harbor Freight trim router to use in it, I’ve been wanting one for awhile and this gave me a reason to buy one. I stuck to the plans except I used pine for the whole thing whereas he calls for birch ply for most of it and maple for a few parts.

Finished building this a couple weeks ago but really hadn’t had a chance to play with it much. Today I copied the upper wheel out of my old cheap 8” bandsaw that I disassembled after it broke. Just used a scrap piece of plywood, copied the wheel at the 1/2 size setting, then resawed it on the new bandsaw. He also has plans for a 1:1 copier, that’s gonna be next on the list.

It is fun to play with and I find myself looking around the house and shop for things to copy.

Looks great using pine. As long as it gets the job done.

I have these plans! Bought them last year and never did anything with them. How long did it take to build?

About a week total, but I was only working on it for a couple hours each evening.
