My first lure, a frog wobbler. I’m a little nervous about tossing this into the shallows this summer, but I might give it a try. I cut out a square of metal, sanded it smooth and attached it with the smallest screws I had. Not the most efficient way, but adds a bit of character. Robbed a few eyelets and a hook from the tackle box… a quick paint job and finished it up with a clear coat. Hope some of you give it a try, I really enjoyed it and it cured a little spring fever at the same time.

He’s really cute! I hope the large mouth bass find him sexy too!

Great looking lure. I especially love the eyes. Have you considered some white paint on the heads, to make them more visible? I can understand the nervousness, but you gotta give it a try, and post pics of the resulting bucketmouth.
