Finally got up the whatever-it-takes to finish this a couple of weeks ago and forgot to post it. It was intended to showcase wonderful diversity in a single medium. It was also intended as a gift… but I like it too much!! I put it on my facebook and people actually thought it was fabric.

From center outward; maple, bay laurel, cherry, walnut, maple, oak, pistachio, hickory, maple, bay laurel, and along the outside edge pistachio. Seriously, makes me want to plant pistachio trees all over my back yard.

-- There's no such thing as a mistake; only a quick change of plans.

It is simply amazing!

I thought someone had posted a cloth quilt here from the first glance.

It does look like cloth. It must have been hard to keep the orientation of the pieces in proper order.
