This is one of my Extreme Birdhouses

It is made from 120 yr old reclaimed barn wood .
This house is over 6 ft wide and 5 1/2 ft high
The pictures were taken on a foggy day in Cranbrook .

This is a update today nov 1, 2009

I gave this birdhouse to my son and his wife as a wedding gift this past September .Today we finally managed to put it up .

That’s not a birdhouse…. it’s a resort! Nice work!

Wow, that’s the nicest birdhouse I ever saw. How tall is the platform that it is on?

Thanks Diane
Most of the birdhouses are mounted 8 ft in the air.
This one is going up next month as soon as the ground thaws out.
It will be between 9 – 10 ft from the ground to the bottom of the base.

I will post a few pics when its up

Wowzers. Insanely detailed such great efforts with the craftsmanship. Very very well done, like the snow effect in winter too :)
