I know I know…it is not diamonds or gold, but we are in a recession people. Made out of African Mahogany and Maple with 6 coats of Danish oil. This is directly out of Woodsmith Magazine no changes made other than my own mistakes. My photography ( I think) is getting better do not mind the date stamp I have not figured out how to change it yet.
Thanks for looking.

Looks good. I actually have the plans for this lying in my “I’d like to do that” pile. I’m sure your wife will cherish it. Thanks for sharing.

Looks good! But I didn’t know that husbands send gift to the wives on Mother’s day… Maybe I should do it to my wife too???

Great mothers day gift! I am putting one of these at the top of my list for my wife. Can you tell me what issue of woodsmith it is in?

very nice work. Are those splines or keys. Some folks say one thing while others say the other. I just did my first keys yesterday. One of those mantel clocks from the wood whisperer. Only the one I am doing is 14” x 14”. I will post pics as soon as I am done with it.

Any way of getting a copy of those plans. I’d really like to make one of those for my son. I just cut out some pieces for one but it wasn’t going to look anything like that. This one looks very cool.

don’t worry I think most of us give our wives something that we made in the shop…it can be a good reason why we are in there some much…
Hon, I have been spending hours working on this for you…great post (nice to see another ontario woodworker on here) I saw a piece of paper from Exotic Woods on one of your posts…is that your stop for most of your wood? I haven’t been there yet, but it is on my list every time we go south…
