Small Step Stool

Project by Dick, & Barb Cain posted 892 days ago 317 views 1 time favorited 10 comments Add to Favorites Watch

I used to pick up an elderly lady to bring her to church.

She had difficulty climbing into my van, so I made this small step stool to help her out.

It can’t be tipped because of the spread of the legs. I also applied Scotchtread to the feet for icy conditions.

THe leg spead is 12”, the heght is 7”, & the top measures 11” x 11”.

It’s a handy stool for kids also.

It’s made from plywood scraps!

Dick -

Very nice! I like the idea of adding Scotchtread to the bottom of the feet.

Dick…..I can’t say I think this particular one is pretty….:) But that just me…I do like the design and the thoughtfullness that went into it’ construction. I wish you were my neighbor.

Jeez, that’s practical. My mom can’t get in my truck without a grunt. Not a bad idea. Worthy of Spid-ato Man!

Another great story and stool. I’d think that that swirling pattern might make her dizzy. LOL.
