A trestle table I just finished thats made of Queda (sp?) A family of cocobolo and Roble which is down here in Panama and is similar to white oak. Its my first wedged mortise and a lot of fun to make… its damn heavy!

Nice looking table from what we can see. Some more pics wood ( Pun intended LOL ) go along way for us woodworking junkies.

Great looking trestle table! I like the wedged tusk tenons, and the overall design of it.

And, it’s ok that it’s heavy—the kids won’t be tipping it over!

Beautiful table. I like heavy, too… Like Dean said, “it won’t tip over.” Love the grain variation in the wood. Where are you in Panama? I lived there in the mid-seventies, on the Atlantic side.
