Since I purchased my Nova 16-24, I have keeping all of my tools on plywood shelves under the lather itself. It was really unorganized and it always took a bit of extra time to find the right tool. About 6 weeks ago, I reorganized my shop and realized I now had room for a cabinet for my lathe tools. I measured up the longest tool I had to start getting dimensions. The original design included mini drawers but I’ve been using the extra space for my sand paper. I used my Dowelmax to put the basic cabinet together (the more I use this jig, the more I want to use it). For the molding I was given a maple headboard that I had taken apart a couple of weeks earlier. The headboard had crown molding which I thought would be appropriate for this project.

Sweet setup. I don’t know what I would do if I could find my tools easily. Thanks for sharing.
