Nice Dave – like all the detail in the blog entries. You turned this around rather quickly. Think I have installed that same ceiling fan myself somewhere along the line. like the wall color too.

Mike,
Thanks. I finished it faster than I originally intended, but not so fast that I didn’t enjoy it. Got to use the 10.5mm while shooting it – tricky with the flash.
Jon,
NOT lopsided! :-P

I’m piecing together our master bedroom, too. One nightstand down. One to go. Oak mirror frame completed, if not finished. Tall dresser still to be built.
But … my wife wants a bed, and … we both love the look of yours. Absolutely great!!!
Did you … by any chance … do a dimensioned drawing for it, or anything similar, that you might be willing to share??
It look stunning. Really nice job!!

Greetings,
I was asked to make a drawing package for the creation of this bed. I have finished it and am making it available free to anyone who wants it. Click here for link info:

I’d like to take a moment to THANK Dave for creating what is certainly the most detailed, ‘digestible,’ and best presented set of DIY plans that I’VE ever seen.
It looks like a big project, but … I may yet just have to tackle it.
But … seriously … I think y’all should take the little time (and bandwidth) required, and just pull down a copy of these plans for yourselves.
There’s a side business, for Dave, here, if he wants it.
Thanks, again!
