Recent request from my Grandmother. She had been using a small cutting board that my Dad made in 8th grade shop class (40+ years ago) and it snapped in half. She said she uses every day and from everything to slicing vegetable, to pounding out pork chops… The new and improved version is a big larger and a tad thicker. I made it out of Cherry, Walnut, and spalted Maple. And, just for the fun of it, I made her a matching cheese/serving board. She was tickled, to say the least. Here’s to hoping this one lasts another 40+ years.
