This piece was a lot of fun to create, I have found that I really enjoy carving and wood burning. Everything is done by hand with a dremmel tool,I do not use any machine to carve for me. When I carve, I seem to get lost in the piece that I am working on, it is very soothing and I feel connected.

The redwood is an end piece that was cut of a larger slab that my husband used for a table top. This scrap piece has been setting on a shelf for quite some time and I knew I would find some use for it.

It is made to set on a counter or mantel, I inlaid the word family with turquoise colored stone and wood burned, bless this….

Measurements: 23” L 5 1/2” Tall and 2” Thick

Thanks for looking
