My girlfriend and her late husband planted this white pine many years ago when they first bought their property. last year I had to cut it down because it had died. for my very first project I made this for her and gave it to her on her birthday just a few short weeks ago. My next project will be a Diamond Willow table and chairs I definitely have my work cut out on this next project. Any help anyone to give me for this next for thi would be greatly appreciated I’ve seen some really awesome work on this site.

Nice pine table.

The only thing I’ve ever seen made of diamond willow was a walking stick. Pretty cool it was!

As for the diamond willow, there are diamond-shaped bulges (for lack of a better word) on the bark. The walking stick I saw featured these – just cleaned up and partially removed the bark. I would think that this technique would make for very nice chair legs. I’m thinking something like a ladder-back straight chair with the rear legs coming straight up the back. If made out of sticks of diamond willow, with the diamond feature enhanced, could be really super.

What is the form of the diamond willow wood you have?

Here’s a web site with lots of ideas for using diamond willow.
