Funeral urn

Project by woodturner39 posted 216 days ago 289 views 0 times favorited 3 comments Add to Favorites Watch

My brother-in-law died last year and I made the urn on the left for him of Hickory and Ebony. Last week my mother-in-law died and I made the one on the right from curly Maple and Padauk.
They are glue ups of 1” stock that I then shaped on the bandsaw and 6” belt sander. Finished with Minwax Polycyrl water base varnish.

I’m sorry for your loss. The pieces look great though!
