Uncle Sam: "I want you!"

Just finished Uncle Sam in the traditional “I want you!” pose. Sam is just over 11 inches tall including the base, and is carved from basswood and painted with acrylic paints.

Oops! I forgot to mention that the original carving was by Steve Brown. I didn’t have time to order a rough out from him, so I carved this from a block of wood based on a photo of his carving.
