Gilded and Polished Mahogany Cross

Hey everyone! Fist time posting.

This is a Mahogany Cross that i made to show potential clients.

It was made with an universal machine(with old school router) and was polished with shellac by hand.

It was also polished, and the glass in the middle is stained glass.

Would love to hear opinions. I will post the making of if anyone wants.

I have more photos but they are more of the same. I dont actualy possess photos of the making of the mouldings.
But i can say they were made in an universal machine, and the irons made by hand.

The thing i thought that gave me the most pain was the angle of the arms, because one milimeter of difference would made a huge difference.

That’s really beautiful! Nice job! I especially love the gold edges. I can see that piece standing tall on an altar in a church somewhere.

That’s the idea! I made this mainly for practice and to show some potentialy clients.
