This closet had a single bar and shelf running from side to side. My daughter wanted more hanging space and shelving and this is the design she suggested.
Construction is 6 plywood boxes made with butt joints glued and screwed together. I used 1/4-inch strips of poplar to cover the plywood edges on the front and 1/4-inch plywood for the back of each box. The boxes were then painted, stacked in place and attached to each other and the back wall with a few screws.
The hanging bar was purchased at Home Depot. Total materials for the whole project were about $175.
