From a found board, The two knots in this piece were the only knots in the nearly 5’ long board, kept seeing two different biirds when turning it upside down. Cutting it in half left what you see, after a little carving and pyro, and mounting of the mirror.

Awesome! My wood talks to me too and says “don’t” cut me. Sometimes I listen, sometimes I don’t. Amazing how ever piece is different. This piece really talked to you.
