This Hollow Form was turned from white Ash. After turning, the piece was dyed with black, and green transparent dyes and finished with 4 coats of lacquer. When the finish was completely dried, it was buffed and waxed . This piece could also be used as a pet urn. The threads are made from brass and can be removed from and put on the base with ease for as many times as desired without damaging the threads.
Approximate Dimensions:
7 1/4 in. high x 5 5/8 in. largest diameter x 2 1/8 in. diameter at the top 1 1/2 in. diameter at the base.
Internal volume : Approximately 60 cubic inches

Nice work, I like how you carved out the base footings.

This is a beautiful piece and will be eye candy for a lot of people. I would love to see it in person.

Absolutely Beautiful. Great choice with the dyes. Con you explain how you fit the brass threaded portion in. I would do that with every thing I turn. Exceptional addition to a large vessel. Great Job!!
