I remember my first work was “Woody Woodpecker” .. Given my age, understandably. After that I worked on the motif of a flower .. and the third, I have dared to make a portrait of of this man.

You will definitely know who it was.

He was visited in 1978 in my beautiful country where I was born .. and now deceased .. in Yugoslavia.

You have been a very good marqueteur for a long time my friend.
I wish I had started sooner.
As always Dusan, you are an inspiration for us all.

Yes, Jimmy Carter in 1978 and paid a visit to Yugoslavia, with President Josip Broz Tito. Those were some other, more beautiful time .. these people are then represented by moderation .. that is so lacking in the present tense.

This motif of Josip Broz is incomplete, but then I did a few similar (and as a boy earned decent money in my then-President :))

Thank you all dear friends for the nice comments !!

Excellent work Dusan as always. Although your work is always outstanding and so well done, this was a very poor president for our country, only our current president is worse than Jimmy Carter. I’m glad he made a good impression on you, but the impression he made on our country was not good. My opinion only, though many others feel the same. Always good to see your beautiful work.

That’s a beautiful image. I only wish now I hadn’t clicked on the project link. It breaks my heart when such a brilliant and honest man, who is truly a heartfelt American and World citizen, is disparaged in such ways as in some comments. People take incredible liberties with the dignities our past Presidents these days.

With the wide chin and jaw line I thought it might be Donald Trump for a minute.
Either way, very nice.
