Nice grain in the wood and interesting corbel design. I am learning to turn one mans defects into another mans figure. You have the trick down.

How is the top attached to the supports? It’s a nice design!

The top attaches to the supports with a couple of deck screws about a inch from the back. Pre drilled with a forstner bit. I used deck screws cause regular steel screws rust and bare steal tends to stain the wood after only a short while. Cant even leave it on tablesaw overnight. The supports are very strong, I even swung on them so I didnt feel the top needed much as far as being attached. No body will be bumping into it either. I think I want to take it apart and wipe it down with some steelwool and give it another coat of tung oil.I really like the feel f the wood, smooth and heavy. Thats what kept me from a urethane finish, the actual feel of the wood surface.
