These are my first lures. They were a lot easier to make than I thought they would be. These were made from a Woodcraft kit that contained all of the parts and instructions. I turned the basic shape on the lathe and used artist license on the painting. A couple of cool looking dudes, huh.

Great looking lures odie and I love your idea. I have signed up to get the daily postings that his mother makes on who his day has been. every little up or down seems to have an impact emotionally and I believe this project can be so important.

Nice work, Odie. I see they have the special OSHA/PETA treble hooks. No fish were harmed in the testing of these lures.

I just recieved a very nice thank you note from Grant…he really appreciated your lures and especially the fact that you gave a book and the supplies to make some more…
he joked that he cannot make any now with his delicate skin…but has already gone on to drawing/sketching up some lure designs…
So….thanks soooo much odie…

That’s great Matt and Odie. Sounds like Grant is looking ahead now instead of back. Sounds like the project worked a small miracle. Hope it continues to work.
