I carved the original Breast Feeder in the early 90’s methinks and I believe it was pear wood. A tongue in cheek idea being that we all start life getting our food (life) from the breasts. I resurrected the idea a couple of years ago when my wife lost her breasts to cancer. The second rendition I had to do in Polymer Clay (cast in pewter) since I didn’t have any carving tools. Hope no offense is taken but I always thought this idea is humorous.
-- I just got done cutting three boards and all four of them were too short. (true story)

Can’t see why this should offend anybody. Great job and great creativity you express on your sculptures/art pieces.

SNL did a skit one time about giving the man support (poor me how am I going to get by on one breast), because his wife was losing her breast, it was hilarious. It just showed how insensitive men are to women losing their breasts to cancer. SNL though likes to slap you in the face with it.

Great idea, not offensive at all. My wife recently lost hers also and i’m sure she would love this. You have to laugh at the big situations like that or you can never get past them. Thanks for the post.
