this wooden goblet was made to hold anything from candy to keys. It is made from laminated pieces of pine, painted expresso brown and then finished with lacquer. 5” tall x 5” diameter

i know, right?!? figured I would be lucky if I got that though, since it is just painted ‘n so many people on etsy do so many more artistic/cool things with other cheaper mediums in that sub $20 range….sigh i’m thinking i have to stick with the hard woods/exotics

that’s a pretty cool cup…I like it. I really like some painted turnings I see at shows…I’m always very impressed that someone would spend a lot of time turning a beautiful chunk of wood then apply a finish other than clear to it. But…I’m always happy with the outcome.
