For Christmas I got a great book on making wooden puzzles. This soma cube is the first of the puzzles I have built. It was built out of 27- 3/4×3/4 cubes of bloodwood that were glued up to make the geometric shapes shown. It was finished with BLO and a coat of beeswax. This was a lot of fun to make, and my daughter just loves playing with it. I will be making many more of the puzzles in the book soon.

Cool Puzzle!!
I have been working with some Pre-Engineering students and this is one of the projects they have to create using a software package. They then build it and have to figure out how it goes together.
