I used 4/4 quartered sawn red oak for three laminations 2 1/4 ’’ thick. Cut the curved legs and layed them out for doweling . I had to make a squared rectangular piece spacer doweled to all four legs. I then made a 84’’ round red oak top .I then used a heavy bodied stain all most black. Sealed with conversion varnish medium rub finish. Then I soldered an aluminum strip all the way around. I then contracted a leather granite top for a the top surface for an a contemporary look with view. All this and heaven too.
