Here is another simple circle cutting jig that attaches to my router table allowing me to keep both hands on the wood. Made from 3/4” plywood and an oak strip that fits in the mitre slot and is glued and nailed to the horizontal plywood. the 2 pieces of plywood are joined with an old door hinge. An adjustable foot (5/16”carriage bolt) at the bottom of the vertical piece allows me to level it with the table. Simply cut a square the size of the circle, lay it on the horizontal plywood, butt it up to the router bit, drill a hole in the center and leave the drill bit there for a pivot point.Start the router and spin the wood till the circle is cut.
