This display plaque was made for the brother of a fallen Soldier Brian M Romines and was presented at the 10 year reunion and memorial of the Iraq deployment in which he was lost.

Fairly straight forward project using the rubbing from the Marseilles, IL Memorial Wall, live edge Red Oak attained from a fallen 200 year old tree that had been growing at the ILARNG HQ in Springfield, IL. Honduran Mahogany backing, and Yellow/Purple Heart Cordon security decoration.

Put a keyhole hanger in the back and finished with Poly and Epoxy.

RIP SGT Brian Romines

What an awesome tribute to one of our nation’s protectors that paid the ultimate sacrifice.

It’s a very nice memorial to a fallen soldier.
