This project is a 100% donation to Hunt of a Lifetime Foundation. Hunt of a Lifetime is a non-profit charitable organization that takes children on hunting and fishing trips who have been diagnosed with life threatening illnesses. The custom box is black walnut with birdseye maple accents. It has a duck hand carved in the center panel. The shotgun is a Ruger Red Lable 12 gauage O/U with hand carved leaves and fish scales. I hope and pray that this project brings $4,000.00 + to help these children in their dream quest.

You did a masterful job on the box and engravings. Whomever gets this will definitely get their moneys worth at $4,000+ and it is neat to see the money go to a great cause. Way to set the standard high, both in craftsmanship and character. Where and when will this be auctioned.

beautiful work. The mallard drake carving you did on the box is the same one I did for my 1st woodcarving project I wish mine turned out as nice as yours. It is a great thing your doing for those kids and I hope it brings in a great price. Keep up the great work with both the carvings and the charity work.

Those metal engravings were done by Ruger by Laser I’m in the process in learning the metal engraving at this time. I wish I would have started learning this trade many years ago. When I get some metal engravings completed I will post them if they don’t turn out to ugly.
