No this is not the same snake that showed up in my shop last year. This guy is smaller, but I still appreciate his help. 48 hrs. this week of laminating rail and stile stock for some massive doors going into the next project: 3+ gallons of glue!. Also, the final glue up of the 16 panel door from the last project. I am very happy that all of the joints came out tight.

Holy Geesum… I would go crazy trying to figure out the rails and stiles for a door like that. Looks like a designer’s nightmare. Amazing though.

Like the rest of your neighbours, it also very keen to know what you’re doing day and night in that shop.
Very nice door! (from my own mouth, not your guest’s one).

Awesome snake, and awesome work on those floating panels. That is one big, and elaborate door. Beautiful work, Rob.

Definitely a King. A dear friend, he/she will keep down the vermin. I’ve got a three foot black racer that’s always a welcome sight in my yard and occasionally comes into the shop area most likely for the lizards of which there are plenty.
always,

The door is great. Have you posted a Blog on how you made the door. I would really like to know how you did the math on this. This may sound dumb but what type of wood did you use and was it quarter sawn. How long did you have to aclimate the lumber for the project. Great Job.
