This is my second attempt at making and finishing tables. I built these out of red oak. My wife and I have had mis-matched night stands for years. Thought I try and make a few that actually matched. As I said, they are red oak with red mahagony minwax stain and several coats of poly. I picked up one of those pocket hole kits at the borg. I have to admit, I had fun using it.

Great looking matched set of tables. You should be proud of a job well done.

They came out looking really nice. Gotta love the pocket hole jigs. The finish on them is very good, still working on my finishes.
