Planner Shed, Etc

So this last winter/spring I built this 10×12 shed. When the weather and daylight would let me anyway.

I built this to get my planner, drum sander, jointer, and miter saw out of my small wood shop. The 4 door design allows me to run any length of wood through the planner or for that matter any of the other tools in the shed.

The shed is about 13 feet high. I built a small loft that’s about 5 feet high in the center. I can store wood, even full 4×8 sheets of plywood up there.

The door support walls are small, so I strengthened them with three quarter inch plywood on the inside. With the half inch T1 11 plywood siding on the outside and 2×6 headers, the shed is very solid and strong.

It looks very nice. How far is it from your shop?

Good solid shed, in your part of the country, you can probably use it year around. Hope you have lots of
fun playing in it.

Nice. The pass through doors are a good idea.

Very nice. Mine is the same size, just different roof line. Same truss pates and all.
Congrats. You will love the extra work space.
