For the finish I did: 2 coats of maple shellac (to seal the wood) and then some very dark pigmentation stain applied generiously that you let dry for 10 minutes and then you wipe it off with a piece of cloth (you do it 2 times, let a week to dry) and then you finish it up with 2 coats of polyurethane. I found it makes pine look gorgious.;)

i like how the pattern mirrors the headboard. did you also make the bed?

I didn’t make the bed. I copied the bed pattern so it would match. :)
