This is a cane i made out of Walnut with a thin disc of Cherry where the handle meets the head. The interesting thing about this cane is i dont own a lathe. I ended up with this funky contraption on the workbench that allowed me to spin it up with my 1/2” Milwaukee drill. Worked pretty good actually. I could show yall a picture of the contraption, but then i’d have to kill ya! LoL

sweet. I like making canes also. Do you have something configured in your shop to allow you to do horizontal boring into the end of the staff? This is something I am trying to figure out. I have a friend that makes pool cues, but his setup is with a machinist lathe, and I don’t have money for that right now.

keep those canes coming,
Mark
